What's up, Joweh people?

What a mad, merry month May was for us! First
and foremost, we have to say that Tribal Fest was
incredible! After days of fabulous workshops with
some of our favorite dancers, Joweh performed a
revamped version of "Thoughts Institutional," our
dark theatrical piece. This time the ever-evolving
"medical drama" was haunted by the specter of
Big Pharma, who added some extra chills to an
otherwise mind-meltingly hot weekend! No less
scorching was the Tribal Fest performance by
Room for Cream, starring our Jodi, accordion
maestro J.D. Limelight, and a mysterious,
mischeivous gorilla.

We also had a blast at our show with our friends,
the World's Biggest Comedy Duo at the Last Day
Saloon. (Whose Line-inspired improv, cold beer,
and free-styling to mashups make a winning
combination for good times.) We ended the month
with a bang at Aubergine, where we celebrated
J.D's birthday with bands, belly dance, and feather
boas. (Did anyone get a picture of TerriAnne in that
police hat?)

The madness isn't stopping any time soon.
Summer is just around the corner, and already our
schedule is packed with gigs!

...and that's just this month! It's going to be a hot
summer.
